Directorate of Pure and Applied Sciences Research(DPASR)
Overview:
The Directorate of Pure and Applied Sciences Research (DPASR) aims to conduct systematic research and development across various sectors in alignment with national priorities. Currently, there is a pressing and growing demand for scientific research and its support at all levels, as advancements and changes in various aspects of life have become rapid and significant, impacting the security of this region and its future. The scientific data, studies, and reports generated by the center serve as a research database, enhancing its content at both national and international levels. Furthermore, one of the established objectives is to ensure that the available data and outcomes from the research and development activities conducted by the center are accessible to relevant authorities in ways they deem appropriate, in accordance with the established guidelines for this purpose.
Mission and Vision:
The primary mission of the Directorate of Pure and Applied Science Research (DPASR) is to support all scientific research through the efforts of researchers.
The main goal of the DPASR is to develop basic research on a wide range of topics spanning all sciences.
The DPASR is established to study every field and process related to the development of pure and applied sciences.
The DPASR will endeavor to provide administrative support that will allow flexible research activities in the pure and applied Sciences. In addition, the center would like to contribute to the goal of becoming a leading science and technology country by carrying out work related to pure and applied Science researches.
Responsibilities:
1. Undertaking studies and research across various scientific domains in alignment with the national priorities of scientific inquiry.
2. Gathering information, studies, and reports that fulfill the objectives of the center and making the available information and findings from the center's studies and research accessible to relevant stakeholders through appropriate channels, in accordance with established guidelines.
3. Addressing the demand for studies and research requested from the center, in line with its capabilities and specific directives established for this purpose.
Objectives:
1. Engaging researchers from both inside and outside the university to undertake studies, research, and consultations aligned with the center's goals.
2. Hosting conferences, seminars, and courses addressing issues of local, regional, or international significance.
3. Disseminating research and studies as deemed suitable by the center.
4. Collaborating and coordinating with centers, institutes, and organizations that share similar objectives and interests.
